June 21, 1983POEA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 022-83TO:All Licensed/Authorized Private Employment Agencies and Private Recruitment Entities   SUBJECT:CB Circular-Letter on the Obligation of Agencies to Report on Inward Remittances in Accordance with Executive No. 857 Attached is a copy of a Circular-Letter from the Central Bank dated 18 March 1983 reminding all authorized or licensed agencies and entities of their obligation to submit to the Foreign Exchange Department of the Central Bank pursuant to the requirements of Executive Order No. 857, a quarterly report on the following matters: digest1) the inward remittances into the Philippines of foreign exchange payments or advances received by agencies/entities from foreign employers/contractors representing mobilization expenses or passage fares of Filipino overseas workers; and2) the number of Filipino workers under the agencies'/entities' employ overseas or recruited by them for overseas employment and the inward remittances of foreign exchange payments from the salaries of these workers.Strict compliance by all agencies/entities to this reporting requirement of the Central Bank is hereby enjoined. CRESCENCIO A.
