October 6, 2020POEA ADVISORY NO. 136-20CHANGE IN THE SCOPE OF ACCEPTANCE OF VISA APPLICATION FOR FILIPINO TRAVELERS BOUND FOR JAPANThe Japanese Embassy in the Philippines released an advisory regarding the inclusion of eligible Filipino travelers under its Phased Measures toward Resuming Cross-Border Travel (Updated on October 1, 2020) which, among other categories, cover technical intern trainees and specified skilled workers. HTcADCThe Embassy further shares the following details:Application Procedure: Subject to compliance with its appointment and social distancing measures, applicants can visit the embassy to apply for a visa directly in person. Technical intern trainees whose sending/accepting organization is same, a representative with the authorization letters from every applicant can apply.Accepting time:8:40-11:00 AM, Monday to Friday except on embassy holidays* The Embassy does not accept applications after the accepting time.Documents: Required documents for the visa application of those eligible under the Phased Measures toward Resuming Cross-Border Travel (Updated on October 1, 2020) are enumerated at:https://www.mofa.go.jp/ca/fna/page22e_000921.htmlContacts.
