Compliance with RA 11058, Occupational Safety and Health Standards

November 21, 2018 LABOR ADVISORY NO. 020-18 Relative to the increase in the manufacture of pyrotechnics and firecrackers nationwide due to the Christmas and New Year's Celebrations, all Regional Directors are hereby directed to monitor the establishments' compliance with RA 11058, OP Memo Order No. 31, s. 2018, Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) to avoid any accident in the workplace. Further, should there be any deficiency in compliance with RA 11058, OSHS, the inspectors shall assist them to correct the same. However, if there is refusal to comply with the OSHS, the inspector is hereby directed to conduct OSHS Investigation pursuant to Department Order No. 183, Series of 2017. All Regional Offices shall submit the list of establishments monitored and given assistance on 28 December 2018 to the Bureau of Working Conditions (BWC). For strict compliance.    (SGD.)
