Creation of STC ExeCom to Review Certain Provisions of the IRR of Republic Act 6982

March 27, 2018DOLE DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 189-18CREATION OF SUGAR TRIPARTITE COUNCIL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE (STC EXECOM) TO REVIEW CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS (IRR) OF REPUBLIC ACT 6982In the interest of service, a 5-man Executive Committee (ExeCom) within the STC is hereby created to study certain provisions of the IRR of RA 6982. The Execom shall be headed by Undersecretary Joel Maglunsod to be composed of the following:One (1) representative from the Millers' sectorOne (1) representative from the Planters' sectorOne (1) representative from the Field Workers' sectorOne (1) representative from the Mill Workers' sectorThe review shall be conducted in two phases taking into account the following order of priorities:Phase 1 — Cash Bonus Program under the Act to resolve the issue on the Entitlement of Contractual Employees under the program and its corresponding implications to program implementation.Phase 2 — Other Component SAP programs that may require amendments as to procedures, requirements, amount of benefits, among others.Upon deliberation, the Execom is required to submit the Committee Report to the Office of the DOLE Secretary...
