Gil Puyat Ave., Makati City, Tuesday, 17 January 2012 at 12:00 NN.WHEREAS, the 1987 Constitution mandates that full protection shall be afforded to labor; WHEREAS, the Supreme Court in the case of Uy vs. Workmen's Compensation Commission (G.R. No. L-43389, April 28, 1980) adopted the so-called "Bunkhouse Rule" and held that:". . . where the employee is required to stay in the premises or in quarters furnished by the employer, injuries sustained therein are in the course of employment regardless of the time the same occurred."WHEREAS, P.D.
