June 8, 1973DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 004-73Pursuant to Section 2 of Republic Act No. 679, as further amended by Presidential Decree No. 148, commonly known as the Woman and Child Labor Law, the following occupations are hereby declared hazardous to young workers, without prejudice to other occupations that may be subsequently be declared as such:HAZARDOUS OCCUPATIONS TO YOUNG WORKERSA. FARMING, FISHING, HUNTING, LOGGING AND RELATED OCCUPATIONS1. fisherman (deep sea and offshore)2. divers of (sponge, pearl and shell)3. logging (as cutter, sawyer, stripper, cable installer, feller)4. charcoal burner (big scale) cdtB. MINING, QUARRYING AND RELATED OCCUPATIONS1. operators of (drilling and blasting machines, stone crushing equipment, conveyor, compressor, steam boiler, air receiver, gas cylinder, acetylene generator)2. firing (with fuse, electricity)3. stone splitter4. underground workersC. TRANSPORT, COMMUNICATION AND NAVIGATIONAL OCCUPATIONS1. firemen2. drivers or operators of (bulldozer, crane, pile driving equipment, trailer, road roller, tractor, lifting appliances, scaffold winch, hoist, excavator, loading machine, trucks, buses, jeepneys and taxis)3. oilers and greasers of heavy machineries4. traffic controller and dispatchersD CRAFTSMAN, PRODUCTION PROCESS AND RELATED OCCUPATIONS1. spinners and winders (textile)2. fiber and...
