December 3, 1976DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 009-76Pursuant to the authority vested by law in the Secretary of Labor and in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 879 dated 23 January 1976 (attached) a Labor Regional Office No. 4-A is hereby created. Unless otherwise decreed, the regional center shall be located in Quezon City.Region No. 4-A shall have jurisdiction over the towns of Rizal, not included in Metropolitan Manila and the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Quezon, Aurora (sub-province), Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Romblon and Palawan, and the cities of Batangas, Cavite, Lipa, Lucena, San Pablo, Tagaytay, Trece Martirez and Puerto Princesa. cdtaiMetropolitan Manila, as contemplated in Presidential Decree No. 824 dated 2 November 1975, shall continue to be served by Labor Regional Office No. 4 in Manila.
