December 18, 2017LABOR ADVISORY NO. 017-17 Relative to the increase in the manufacture of pyrotechnics and firecrackers nationwide due to the Christmas and New Year's Celebrations, all Regional Directors are hereby directed to monitor the establishments' compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) to avoid any accident in the workplace. Further, should there be deficiency in OSHS, the Inspectors shall assist them to correct the same. However, if there is refusal to comply with OSHS, the Inspector is hereby directed to conduct OSHS Investigation pursuant to Department Order 183, Series of 2017.All Regional Offices shall submit the list of establishments monitored and given assistance on 29 December 2017 to the Bureau of Working Conditions (BWC).For strict compliance.
