April 23, 1976POLICY INSTRUCTIONS NO. 03-76TO:All Concerned SUBJECT:Enforcement of Final Awards in Labor Cases In order to maximize coordination, implementation and execution of final awards, orders, decisions and resolutions of the different authorities of the Department of Labor, the following instructions are hereby issued for the guidance of all concerned.Enforcement of Final Awards1. For coordination and efficiency, the execution, implementation and enforcement of final awards, orders, resolutions and/or decisions of Med-Arbiters, Labor Arbiters, Regional Directors, BLR Director, Commission , National Seamen Board and the Secretary of Labor, shall be coursed to the designated or appointed sheriffs in the appropriate regions.Mode of Execution2. Upon receipt of the writ of execution, the sheriff and/or his deputy in the regional office that has jurisdiction over the subject matter in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations shall immediately enforce and implement such orders, awards, decisions or resolutions in accordance with the terms and conditions of the writ, unless otherwise enjoined by proper authority.
