Establishment of DOLE Steering Committee Against Trafficking in Persons and DOLE Technical Working Group and Joint Secretariat

February 16, 2011DOLE ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 065-11In the interest of the service and in line with the President's directive under the 22-point labor and employment agenda to effectively curb trafficking in persons across and within national borders, a mechanism is hereby instituted in DOLE for the effective implementation and monitoring of anti-trafficking-related programs and projects, as well as appropriate representation of DOLE officials and personnel in the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking in Persons (IACAT): A. DOLE Steering Committee Against Trafficking in PersonsComposition. A DOLE Steering Committee Against Trafficking in Persons is hereby established to serve as an advisory body on policies and programs to prevent labor trafficking of local and overseas Filipino workers with the following composition:Chairperson:Undersecretary Danilo P.
