July 10, 2017DOLE DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 177-17EXPANDING DOLE ADJUSTMENT MEASURES PROGRAM FOR DISPLACED HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION PERSONNEL DUE TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10533In the interest of service and pursuant to the DOLE-DepEd-TESDA-CHED Joint Guidelines in the Implementation of the Labor and Management Component of Republic Act No. 10533, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) hereby promulgates the following rules and regulations expanding the implementation of DOLE Adjustment Measures Program (AMP) for displaced Higher Education Institution (HEI) personnel due to the implementation of Republic Act No. 10533 otherwise known as the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013. ARTICLE IGeneral ProvisionsSECTION 1. Declaration of Policy. — The 1987 Philippine Constitution guarantees the protection of labor, promotion of full employment and equality of employment opportunities for all. Rule VII, Section 31 of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 10533 provides that the rights, interests, and welfare of teaching and non-teaching HEI personnel shall be promoted and protected.SECTION 2. Policy Objectives. — This Department Order aims to expand the coverage provided under...
