 November 18, 1986GOVERNING BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 01-86WHEREAS, inspite of adverse conditions and decline in demand for overseas workers, POEA has maintained Filipino employment levels overseas;WHEREAS, such efforts contributed to the stability of the Welfare Fund derived largely from employers of landbased workers and shared contributions from employers and seamen for seabased workers;WHEREAS, there is a need to give due recognition to each and every employee's invaluable contribution for the achievement of the goals of the Administration;WHEREAS, the Administration recognizes outstanding employee's through the selective merit awards and likewise believes that it is imperative to sustain a motivated work force in order to maximize their competence, efficiency and productivity;WHEREAS, during this time of economic crisis there is a need to uphold the morale of all employees by providing them an immediate measure to help ease their financial burdens;WHEREFORE, it is hereby resolved to grant to all POEA employees an across-the-board incentive pay and medical allowance of P2,500.00 and P1,500.00 each respectively, chargeable against the 2% Incentive Fund of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA). digest AUGUSTO...
