Gil J. Puyat Avenue, Makati City on Thursday, 2nd day of September 2010 at 12:00 Noon.WHEREAS, Article 166 of P.D. 626, as amended, states that the policy of the Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) is to grant disability benefits to qualified workers in the event of work-related injuries; WHEREAS, under existing jurisprudence, an injured worker may recover compensation for both temporary total and permanent partial disability. The object of the law in allowing compensation during temporary total disability is to compensate the laborer for what he might have earned during the period of treatment of his work-related injury.
