Guidelines in the Nomination and Selection of Additional Members to the POEA Governing Board and the OWWA Board of Trustees

2010POEA-OWWA JOINT MEMORANDUM CIRCULARGUIDELINES IN THE NOMINATION AND SELECTION OF ADDITIONAL MEMBERS TO THE POEA GOVERNING BOARD AND THE OWWA BOARD OF TRUSTEESPursuant to Section 20 of Republic Act 10022 (amending RA 8042) and Section 1, Rule XVII of its Omnibus Implementing Rules and Regulations, as well as the DOLE Administrative Order No. 385, Series of 2010, the following guidelines are hereby promulgated which shall govern the nomination, screening and selection of additional members to the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Governing Board and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Board of Trustees, representing the Women, Sea-based and Land-based sectors: 1. The Screening and Selection Committee (SSC) — Pursuant to the DOLE Administrative Order No. 385, Series of 2010, the SSC be composed of the following officers representing their respective offices:A. POEAChairperson:Administrator Jennifer Jardin-Manalili   Vice-Chair:Deputy Administrator Noriel P.
