July 3, 2018DOLE DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 193-18GUIDELINES ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE COLLEGE AND TECHNICAL-VOCATIONAL EDUCATION ASSISTANCE COMPONENT OF THE TRAINING AND EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM UNDER THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC PROJECTS OF THE SOCIAL AMELIORATION AND WELFARE PROGRAM FOR WORKERS IN THE BIOFUELS INDUSTRY, UTILIZING COCONUT AS FEEDSTOCKPursuant to Sections 11 (e) and 17 of Republic Act No. 9367, otherwise known as 'The Biofuels Act of 2006'; the Joint Administrative Order No. 2008-1 Series of 2008, and upon the recommendation of the Tripartite Consultative Council in the Biodiesel Sector, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) hereby issue this Guidelines: SECTION 1. Purpose. —This Guidelines explains the process of availment and sets the standard to which qualified beneficiaries or scholarship grantee will be eligible to receive their choice of either college and/or technical vocational education assistance. It likewise clarifies the coverage of the Twenty per cent (20%) allocation for training and educational assistance under the Ninety-five percent (95%) of the Socio-Economic Project Fund of the Social Amelioration and Welfare Program for Workers in the Biofuel Industry, utilizing...
