November 14, 2003DOLE ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 390-03GUIDELINES ON LEAVE ADMINISTRATIONIn the interest of the service and for uniform implementation of Civil Service rules on leave administration in the Department, the following guidelines are hereby prescribed: I. ATTENDANCE1. WORK SCHEDULE1.1 Employees are required to render at least eight (8) hours of work each day and must be present during the core working hours on regular working days from Monday to Friday.1.2 Work hours in the Department shall be from 7:00a.m. to 6:30p.m. Thus, employees may opt to work anytime between 7:00a.m. to 6:30p.m., provided the core working hours are observed.1.3 The core working hours shall be from 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. on Mondays and from 9:30a.m. to 4:00p.m. on Tuesdays to Fridays. Hence, employees who report for work beyond 8:00a.m. during Mondays and 9:30a.m. during Tuesdays to Fridays shall be considered tardy and those who leave before completing 8 hours of work shall be considered undertime.
