April 30, 2007DOLE ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 114-07GUIDELINES ON THE GRANT OF SALARY STEP INCREMENT BASED ON LENGTH OF SERVICEPursuant to the Joint Civil Service Commission (CSC) and Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Circular No. 1, series of 2003 and CSC Memorandum Circular (MC) Nos. 41, series of 1998 and 15, series of 1999 relative to the grant of salary step increment based on length of service to officials and employees of the Department, the following guidelines are hereby adopted: I. OBJECTIVEThe grant of salary step increment aims to reward employees for their continuous service in the Department and dedication to their job.II. SCOPEThis covers all officials and employees of the Department who are appointed in the:a. career service under permanent status; andb. non-career service whose positions are found in the regular plantilla.III. MECHANICS AND EVALUATION CRITERIA1. A one (1) step increment shall be granted to officials and employees for every three (3) years of continuous satisfactory service in the position.2.
