February 10, 2017ECC CIRCULAR NO. 002-17IMPORTANT NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC ON FRAUDULENT ACTIVITIES AND UNVERIFIED INFORMATION CONCERNING THE EMPLOYEES' COMPENSATION PROGRAM (ECP)The Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC) cautions the public against any individuals who conduct seminars for EC survivorship pensioners for a fee and introduce themselves as ECC officials. Be forewarned of any fraudulent activities or unverified information on the Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) especially if it involves charging of fees for purposes of attendance in any alleged ECP Advocacy Seminars and/or for purposes of facilitating the grant of EC benefits.ECC-Regional Extension Units (REUs) are the only official ECC representatives in the regions.For official information on the Employees' Compensation Program (ECP), kindly visit the ECC website: www.ecc.gov.ph.For guidance of all concerned.Done in the City of Makati this 10th day of February 2017.
