July 18, 2014.](RO4A-LPO-CE-07-07-05-13)IN RE: PETITION FOR CERTIFICATION ELECTION AMONG THE MONTHLY EMPLOYEES OF COCA-COLA BOTTLERS PHILIPPINES, INC.-CANLUBANG PLANTCOCA-COLA MONTHLIES UNION-CANLUBANG PLANT (CCMU), petitioner-appellee,COCA-COLA BOTTLERS PHILIPPINES, INC.-CANLUBANG PLANT (CCBPI), employer-appellant.RESOLUTIONThis resolves the appeal of Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc.-Canlubang Plant from the Order dated 25 November 2013 issued by DOLE Regional Office No. IV-A Mediator-Arbiter Maureen Zena Serazon-Tongson, the dispositive portion of which reads: WHEREFORE, the protest filed by Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc.-Canlubang Plant (CCBPI) is hereby DISMISSED. Coca-Cola Monthlies Union-Canlubang Plant (CCMU) is hereby CERTIFIED as SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE BARGAINING AGENT of the rank-and-file monthly employees of the Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc.-Canlubang Plant.Accordingly, Coca-Cola Monthlies Union-Canlubang Plant (CCMU) shall have the rights, privileges and obligations of a duly certified collective bargaining agent from the time this certification is issued.The facts are as follows:On 9 October 2013, a certification election was conducted at the Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc.-Canlubang Plant (CCBPI), which yielded the following results:Yes28No0Challenged17 –––Total valid votes45Spoiled2 ===On 25 October 2013, CCBPI formalized its protest on the following grounds: SDAaTC1.
