Gil J. Puyat Avenue, Makati City on Wednesday, 20th day of October 2010 at 12:00 Noon.WHEREAS, the Employees Compensation Commission recognizes the impact of the rising inflation rate on the cost of daily living expenses of our Occupationally Disabled Workers;WHEREAS, the One Thousand Eight Hundred Pesos (Php1,800.00) meal and transportation allowance of the Occupationally Disabled Workers was last adjusted in 2000;WHEREAS, Occupationally Disabled Workers from distant places incur expenses to avail themselves of skills/entrepreneurial training or rehabilitation services; CSDcTHWHEREAS, among the reasons why Occupationally Disabled Workers fail to avail themselves of these services is the lack of resources to defray their meals and transportation expenses to and from the training centers or hospitals;NOW THEREFORE, FOREGOING PREMISES DULY CONSIDERED,RESOLVED AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the increase in the meal and transportation allowance of Occupationally...
