June 1, 2020POEA ADVISORY NO. 68-20INDONESIA'S TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMICThe Indonesian government imposed an entry and transit ban on all foreigners since 02 April 2020 with the exception of the following: CAIHTE• Holders of Temporary Stay Permit (TAS) or Permanent Stay Permit (ITAP);• Holders of Diplomatic Visa, Service Visa, Diplomatic Stay Permit or Service Stay Permit;• Medical Aid Workers or Food Sustenance Workers for Humanitarian Purposes; and• Expatriates working on strategic national projects.Foreigners/passengers who are eligible to enter Indonesia must comply with the following requirements:• Possession of valid health certificate (in English language) issued by Health Authority from their respective country. The health certificate must be valid within seven (7) days;• The health certificate must state that the foreigner/passenger is free from respiratory disease and residing for at least fourteen (14) days in a country with no eminent case of COVID-19;• Statement of compliance stating that the foreigner/passenger agreed to be self-quarantine for fourteen (14) days.The above information is subject to change upon the issuance of corresponding orders from the Indonesian government.For the...
