January 25, 2018LABOR ADVISORY NO. 001-18In relation to the NCCC Mall fire incident last 23 December 2017, the DOLE Regional Office No. XI is hereby directed to immediately provide emergency employment assistance to the affected workers, including Mall workers, its tenants and service providers, who were displaced by reason of the cessation of work due to fire incident, including the identified beneficiaries of the thirty-eight (38) casualties of the fire incident. In case the affected workers of the NCCC Mall do not want to or cannot engage in TUPAD community projects, their qualified immediate family members or relatives may instead avail of assistance under TUPAD program, subject to submission of documentary requirements.The qualified workers may also be offered with livelihood assistance under the DILP, subject to submission of the documentary requirements.For strict compliance.
