June 1, 2020POEA ADVISORY NO. 69-20MALAYSIA EXTENDS MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER UNTIL 09 JUNE 2020The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia announced the extension of the duration of Movement Control Order (MCO) until 09 June 2020, which was supposed to end on 12 May 2020. In a Note Verbal addressed to all Diplomatic Missions and International Organizations in the country, the MFA has advised the continued adherence to the guidelines set under the MCO. HTcADCIn line with the above announcement, the following regulations on the movement of foreigners to and in Malaysia during the MCO period are reiterated as follows:• All foreign visitors/tourists are not allowed to enter Malaysia until further notice;• All holders of Expatriate Pass, Student Pass, Dependent Pass, Temporary Work Pass and MM2H Pass are not allowed to enter Malaysia until further notice. Expatriate Pass holders for essential services may submit application to enter Malaysia via the relevant Ministry/Agencies and Director General of Immigration Malaysia. Approval will be considered on case-to-case basis;• Foreigners with confirmed connecting flight who do not require exiting immigration...
