Through its programs and policies, it shall endeavor to protect them against discrimination, exploitation, threat, violence or intimidation; to eradicate trafficking in persons specifically forced labor; and to support the victims thereof. It shall carry out legal measures to assist and enable the prosecution of the offenders as well as provide the victims their protection, rehabilitation and reintegration into the mainstream of society.
