July 13, 2020POEA ADVISORY No. 99-20NEW AIR TRAVEL PROTOCOLS IN DUBAIUpon the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the follow-up of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, by the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management headed by Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, an announcement of new air travel protocols for Dubai citizens, residents and visitors was made.Those with residency visas will henceforth be allowed to return to Dubai effective 22 June 2020, upon presentation of return approvals from the Dubai General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs. The following are also included in the protocol:• A pre-booked flight to Dubai through an airline with a direct link to the Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs is required;• Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) testing will be conducted upon arrival at Dubai airport; HTcADC• Those tested positive for COVID-19 will undergo 14-day quarantine;• The cost...
