October 9, 2013NLRC EN BANC RESOLUTION NO. 006-13WHEREAS, to effectively implement Section II, Rule 2 of the 2012 NLRC Sheriff's Manual on Execution of Judgment and to attain the commitment under the 2011-2016 NLRC Road Map and the Office Performance Commitment Report (OPCR), there is a need to adopt norms of conduct specific to Sheriffs on account of the special nature of their duties and responsibilities;WHEREAS, the "Code of Conduct of Sheriffs of the National Labor Relations Commission" was presented for consideration of the Commission en banc.WHEREFORE, RESOLVE AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the proposed "Code of Conduct of Sheriffs" is ADOPTED and APPROVED. Thus: "CODE OF CONDUCT OF SHERIFFS OF THE NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS COMMISSION"WHEREAS, the NLRC is a quasi-judicial body tasked to resolve labor disputes fairly, expeditiously, effectively and with least cost to the litigants;WHEREAS, Sheriffs play a vital role in the enforcement of NLRC judgments;WHEREAS, there is a need to adopt norms of conduct specific to Sheriffs on account of the special nature of their duties and responsibilities;NOW THEREFORE, the Code...
