October 9, 2013NLRC EN BANC RESOLUTION NO. 007-13WHEREAS, Rule VII, Section 5 of the 2011 NLRC Rules of Procedure, as amended, provides:"SECTION 5. Consultation. — The conclusions of a Division on any case or matter submitted to it for decision shall be reached in consultation before the case is assigned to a member for the writing of the opinion. It shall be mandatory for the Division to meet for the purpose of the consultation ordained herein. A certification to this effect signed by the Presiding Commissioner of the Division shall be issued and a copy thereof attached to the record of the case and served upon the parties."WHEREAS, there is a need to designate an authorized signatory to the certification from among the remaining Commissioners for purpose of complying with the above-provision of the 2011 NLRC Rules, as amended, during the absence of the Presiding Commissioners of the Seventh or Eight Divisions;WHEREFORE, RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, the Chairman is empowered to designate a Commissioner who will sign the certification during the absence of...
