September 26, 2018NLRC EN BANC RESOLUTION NO. 014-18WHEREAS, Section 9, Rule VII of the 2011 NLRC Rules of Procedure, as amended, provides that: SECTION 9. CONSOLIDATION OF CASES. — Appealed and injunction cases involving the same parties, issues, or related questions of fact or law shall be consolidated before the Commissioner to whom the case with the lowest case number is assigned. Notice of the consolidation shall be given by the Executive Clerk or Deputy Executive Clerk to the other members of the concerned Divisions.WHEREAS, there are instances wherein the implementation of the above provision could not be effected due to the disagreements of the Commissioners or objections of the parties or any reason whatsoever;WHEREFORE, RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that in the said instances, the Commission en banc authorizes the Chairman to order the consolidation of the same appealed and/or injunction cases.Signed this 26th day of September 2018 at Quezon City, Philippines. aScITE(SGD.)
