June 10, 1998POEA MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 006-98In commemoration of the 100th year celebration of our Independence and in consonance with the Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular No. 17 s. 1998, all POEA officials and employees are encouraged to visit the Centennial Exposition at the Clark Air Base. The Centennial Exposition is intended to be the showcase of Filipino trade, culture, arts, environment, and international relations.To ensure the success of Expo Pilipino, POEA officials and employees are hereby authorized to visit the Centennial Exposition on official time for a maximum of three days anytime between the period 11 June 1998 to 15 June 1999 subject to the following conditions:1. All Branch Managers must submit the names of staff who intends to visit the Centennial Exposition, duly noted by respective Office Director, to the HRD Division within seven working days after issuance of the Centennial leave guidelines.
