June 25, 1998POEA MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 007-98In the interest of the service and pursuant to Rule X of the Rules Implementing Book V of EO 292 and the 1993 CSC approved POEA Employees Suggestions and Incentive Awards System, the grant of amelioration allowance to all POEA officials and employees is hereby authorized in recognition of the personal efforts contributed by POEA personnel to the efficiency, economy, and other improvement in POEA operations, subject to the following guidelines:1. Each official/employee regardless of salary and appointment status (excluding project based contractuals), and who has rendered at least four months of service from January to June 1998 shall be entitled to an amelioration allowance of P3,600.00.2. An official/employee who has rendered less than six (6) months of service from January to June 1998, including those on vacation leave without pay, shall be entitled to the same compensation proportionate to the total number of days worked or P600.00 per month.3. Funds for this purpose shall be charged against the 1st semester savings of 1998.This authorization shall be effective for...
