September 1, 1983POEA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 020-A-83TO:All Private Placement Agencies, Private Recruitment Entities and Manning Agencies   SUBJECT:Pre-Employment Medical Examination for All Overseas-Bound Workers Further to Memorandum Circular No. 20 dated 11 June 1983 on the rules and regulations on the accreditation of medical clinics and the conduct of medical examination for overseas workers, please be informed that said rules and regulations especially as they pertain to the conduct of pre-employment medical examination for overseas-bound workers shall become effective today 01 September 1983. Please be reminded, therefore, that only accredited medical clinics can conduct pre-employment medical examination on your worker-applicants. Violation of this rule shall subject the agency or entity to appropriate administrative sanctions such as suspension or cancellation of license or authority. cdtIn order that you are properly guided on this matter, may we again furnish you a copy of Memo-Circular No. 20 together with the list of accredited medical clinics as of 01 September 1983.
