September 11, 2020LABOR ADVISORY NO. 024-A-20REVISED GUIDELINES ON ENGAGEMENT OF CHILDREN 15 TO BELOW 18 YEARS OF AGE IN PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT OR INFORMATION DURING COMMUNITY QUARANTINEThis Advisory is being issued for the guidance of all concerned: SECTION 1. Coverage. — This Advisory shall apply to employers whose business is allowed to operate during the community quarantine and will engage a child 15 to below 18 years of age in public entertainment or information.SECTION 2. Work Arrangement. — A child 15 to below 18 years of age may be allowed to participate on-cam in studio or location shoots for public entertainment or information during community quarantine provided that the minimum public health standards as prescribed by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, Department of Health, Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Trade and Industry and other government agencies are the strictly implemented and observed.SECTION 3. Refusing Unsafe Work. — The child has the right to refuse work in accordance with Republic Act No. 9231 and Republic Act No. 11058.SECTION 4. ...
