September 25, 1992NWPC GUIDELINES NO. 001-92REVISED GUIDELINES ON EXEMPTION FROM COMPLIANCE WITH THE PRESCRIBED WAGE/COST OF LIVING ALLOWANCE INCREASES GRANTED BY THE REGIONAL TRIPARTITE WAGES AND PRODUCTIVITY BOARDSPursuant to Section 3, Article 121 b of RA 6727 and Section I, Rule VIII of the Rules of Procedure on Minimum Wage Fixing, the following guidelines on exemption are hereby issued for strict compliance by all concerned:SECTION 1. Definition of Terms1. Commission — refers to the National Wages and Productivity Commission.2. Board — refers to the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board.3. Order — refers to the Wage Order promulgated by the Board pursuant to its wage-fixing authority. cd4. Establishment — refers to an economic unit which engages in one or predominantly one kind of economic activity at a single fixed location.For purposes of determining eligibility for exemption, establishments under the same owners but separately registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) or Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) as the case may be, irrespective of their location, shall be treated as...
