February 18, 2020POEA ADVISORY NO. 17-20The Revised POEA Rules and Regulations Governing the Recruitment and Employment of Landbased Overseas Filipino Workers of 2016 provides for recognition, awards and privileges for the exemplary performance of landbased recruitment agencies granting them the recognition as either the Presidential Awardees, Awardees of Excellence, Ministerial Awardees with privileges and exemptions. However, Section 234, Part IX, requires the Philippine Embassy or POLO authentication or verification of employment documents of principal/employer of domestic workers. HTcADCThe POEA shall henceforth require from all agencies including Awardees that received recognition incentives under the old Rules, the submission of verified or authenticated documents in relation to their request for accreditation or registration of principals employing domestic workers pursuant to Section 234. Documents submitted after fifteen (15) days from the publication of this Advisory in the POEA website shall be treated as pipeline accounts and evaluated for accreditation.For information and guidance of all concerned.
