Suspension of Issuance of Overseas Employment Certificates for Newly Hired Workers Bound for Kuwait

January 24, 2018POEA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 001-18TO:All Concerned   SUBJECT:Suspension of Issuance of Overseas Employment Certificates for Newly Hired Workers Bound for Kuwait Pursuant to DOLE Administrative Order No. 25, Series of 2018 that took effect on January 19, 2018, the processing of overseas employment certificates (OECs) for all new hires bound for Kuwait is suspended. Balik-Manggagawa or returning workers are exempted from the suspension of issuance of the overseas employment certificate subject to the submission of documentary requirements.
