Temporary Suspension on the Issuance of Alien Employment Permits to Foreign Nationals in the Island of Boracay

June 26, 2018LABOR ADVISORY NO. 011-18TEMPORARY SUSPENSION ON THE ISSUANCE OF ALIEN EMPLOYMENT PERMITS TO FOREIGN NATIONALS IN THE ISLAND OF BORACAYIn the interest of service and in consonance with Proclamation No. 475 declaring a State of Calamity in the Barangays of Balabag, Manoc-manoc, and Yapak (Island of Boracay) in the Municipality of Malay, Aklan and the temporary closure of the island as a tourist destination, the temporary suspension on the issuance of Alien Employment Permit (AEP) to foreign nationals intending to be employed in the Island of Boracay is hereby enforced.
