March 8, 2011DOLE ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 083-11THE MANAGEMENT SUCCESSION PROGRAM "THE NEXT GEN OF LEADERS"To institutionalize a system for identifying and developing a corps of future leaders, thereby ensuring leadership continuity at all levels of the Department, the following guidelines for the implementation of the Management Succession Program (MSP), also referred to as "The Next Gen of Leaders Program" are hereby issued. I. CoverageThe Program is open to all qualified incumbents of technical and middle management positions (SG19-26) including those who perform supervisory functions in an acting capacity from DOLE central, regional and attached agencies/offices with high leadership potentials who are resolved to maintain a career in the Department and be its next generation of leaders.II. ObjectivesThe Program is designed to ensure the availability of high quality DOLE executives (Director III and above).Specifically, it aims to:1. develop a pool of management talents with well-rounded competence on labor governance;2. hone their leadership competency through learning facilitations that may include formal education, customized training on management/leadership and labor governance-related topics, job rotation or cross posting, immersion, mentoring...
