November 2012POEA MARKET UPDATE NO. 01-12TWO MONTH AMNESTY TO ILLEGAL RESIDENTS IN UAEThe Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Abu Dhabi reported that the Abu Dhabi government issued a two-month amnesty to illegal residents, allowing them to leave UAE without penalty, or regularize their visas starting December 4, 2012 until February 3, 2013. aDSIHcThe report further enjoins illegal residents who overstayed their visas to visit residency departments across the UAE to obtain exit pass and leave the country without penalties, or regularize their visa after payment of fines.
