March 20, 2020POEA ADVISORY NO. 28-20UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (UAE) SUSPENSION OF ENTRY AND ISSUANCE OF LABOUR PERMITSThe UAE has also suspended the entry of all valid visa holders including residence visa holders who are currently out of the country for a period of two weeks effective 12 noon of 19 March 2020. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MOFAIC) has requested travelers to abide by the following procedures:1. Those who are currently staying in their country of origin have to contact the UAE diplomatic missions in their respective countries for all necessary support and to streamline their return to the UAE.2. Those who are currently outside the UAE for business considerations have to contact their employers as well as the Emirati diplomatic missions in their host countries for all necessary support to facilitate their return to UAE.3. Those who are vacationing outside UAE have to contact the UAE diplomatic missions in their respective host countries to assist their return to UAE.Moreover, effective 19 March 2020, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MOHRE)...
