2009WORKERS INCOME AUGMENTATION PROGRAM (WIN AP)WIN AP is a response of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's Administration to the workers' problem of sustaining the basic needs of their families due to the adverse effects of structural adjustments in the economy, oil price hikes, and peso strengthening. Through the Department of Labor and Employment, the program assists workers in earning additional income by engaging them in business or livelihood undertakings. ScAaHEWho may avail of the services of WIN AP?The program is available for low-income wage workers and their families in the formal economy. It is also available for low-income group of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families whose income are affected by peso strengthening.How may WIN AP assist the workers in undertaking business/livelihood projects?The program provides a package of support services that will help the workers' families in starting and managing business or livelihood projects through the provision of the following services:• Business planning.
