A DECREE RENAMING THE BUREAU OF SPECIAL SERVICES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM
WHEREAS, the growth of tourism in the country and the increased development and establishment of tourism facilities and services have now made licensing and regulation a major undertaking and responsibility of the Bureau of Special Services of the Department of Tourism; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to more properly identify this Bureau to the Public in relation to its authority and responsibility and, at the same time, render it more effective in the enforcement and administration of duly promulgated policies and regulations of the Department of Tourism;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers in me vested by the Constitution, do hereby decree:
Section 1. The present Bureau of Special Services of the Department of Tourism shall henceforth be known as the Bureau of Tourism Services and for this purpose, Presidential Decree No. 189 is accordingly...

Renaming of Bureau of Special Services
- The Bureau of Special Services in the Department of Tourism is renamed as the Bureau of Tourism Services. (Section 1)
