EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 855 December 10, 1982 AMENDING PARAGRAPH 21 OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBER ONE, DATED JULY FOUR, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND FORTY-SIX, ENTITLED: "PRESCRIBING RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE GRANTING AND ISSUING OF PASSPORTS" Pursuant to the powers vested in me by the Constitution, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend paragraph 21 of Executive Order No. 1 dated July 4, 1946, so as to read as follows: "21. Passports shall be valid for a period of four (4) years; Provided, however, that the Minister for Foreign Affairs, as well as any diplomatic or consular officer duly authorized by him, may restrict the period of validity to less than four (4) years whenever such restriction is necessary." This Order shall take effect immediately. Done in the City of Manila, this 10th day of December, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-two.
