Amending Presidential Decree No. 1271 on Nullifying Decrees of Registration and Certificates of Title Covering Lands within the Baguio Townsite Reservation

- Extension of Deadlines:
• Extends the deadline for filing manifestations of intention to validate titles to lands within the Baguio Townsite Reservation from March 22, 1978 to one (1) year from the effectivity of this Decree. (Section 3)
• Extends the deadline for the Republic to nullify titles not validated from ninety (90) days to one (1) year after the effectivity of this Decree. (Section 4)

- Payment Requirements for Title Validation (Section 1):
• Present title-holder shall pay 15% of the assessed value of the land as of revision period 1973 (P.L. 76). (Section 1b)
• Payment schedule: 10% within one (1) year from the effectivity of this Decree, and the balance in two equal installments - first installment within the second year, and second installment within a year thereafter. (Section 1b)

- Documentary Requirements for Title Validation (Section 2):
• Owner's copy of the title or documents of transfer of ownership, or certified Xerox copy thereof. (Section 2c1)
• Certified Xerox copy of 1973 Tax Declaration. (Section 2c2)
• Certified Xerox copy of the official receipt showing payment of 10% of 15% of the assessed value of the land. (Section 2c3)

- Repealing Clause (Section 5):
• All laws, decrees, orders, letters of instructions, rules and regulations, or parts thereof, contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of this Decree are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

- Effectivity (Section 6):
• This Decree shall take effect immediately.
