MALACAÑANGM a n i l a PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 427 April 1, 1974 AMENDING PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 337 BY INCLUDING CIVILIAN PERSONNEL OF THE NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY AUTHORITY AND THE CIVIL INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY AGENCY AMONG THOSE WHO SHALL BE GRANTED LONGEVITY PAY WHEREAS, Presidential Decree No. 337 grants longevity pay to civilian investigation agents of the Criminal Investigation Service, Philippine Constabulary, and to civilian intelligence agents of the intelligence services/units of the Armed Forces of the Philippines; WHEREAS, the civilian intelligence personnel of the National Intelligence and Security Authority and the Civil Intelligence and Security Agency have also participated and played an important role in the suppression of criminality and other forms of lawlessness related to subversion, insurrection and rebellion and in the identification, detection, and arrest of leaders and hard core members of the communist organizations/movements; WHEREAS, the civilian intelligence personnel of the National Intelligence and Security Authority and the Civil Intelligence and Security Agency are exposed to the same dangers as their counterparts in the Armed Forces of the Philippines in...
