PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 1643
AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NO. 95, AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 855 AND REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6373 AND FURTHER AMENDED BY PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1264
WHEREAS, under Section 6 sub-section a of Presidential Decree No. 1264, the term of office of all members of the Board of Governors of the Philippine National Red Cross shall be four years and any member of said board who has served two consecutive full terms of four years each or a total of eight years becomes ineligible for membership in said board for at least two years;
WHEREAS, the Philippine National Red Cross is a member of the League of Red Cross Societies, the International Federation of the National Red Cross, Red Crescent and Red Lion and Sun Societies, which are among the most prestigious international organizations in the world;
WHEREAS, as a member of these organizations, the Philippine National Red Cross is actively participating in the deliberations of their governing bodies, commissions and advisory committees to encourage, facilitate...
