- Daily Allowance (Section 1):
• P10.00 per day in chartered cities (Section 1)
• P5.00 per day in all other places (Section 1)
• Covers incidental transportation and other expenses (Section 1)
- Representation Expenses (Section 1):
• Department Head may authorize granting of representation expenses, if necessary (Section 1)
• Subject to existing rules and regulations (Section 1)
- Effectivity (Section 2):
• This Decree shall take effect immediately (Section 2)

PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 344
AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FORTY SEVEN ENTITLED "AN ACT TO REGULATE PAYMENT OF EXPENSES OF GOVERNMENT OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES WHEN ON OFFICIAL TRAVEL WITHIN THE PHILIPPINES"
Section 1. Section 1 of Republic Act No. 3847 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 1. When an officer or employee is required to travel on official business outside of his permanent official station, he shall be entitled per diems to cover his board and lodging which shall be fixed on the basis of salary and in accordance with the rules and regulations promulgated by the Commissioner on Audit to implement this decree: Provided, That such per diems shall not be below the minimum nor above the maximum as fixed herein:
