AN ACT CONVERTING THE EXISTING 5th MUNICIPAL CIRCUIT TRIAL COURT OF CARMONA-GENERAL MARIANO ALVAREZ INTO A MUNICIPAL TRIAL COURT WITH SEAT AT THE MUNICIPALITY OF CARMONA, AND CREATING A SEPARATE MUNICIPAL TRIAL COURT FOR THE MUNICIPALITY OF GENERAL MARIANO ALVAREZ, ALL SITUATED IN THE PROVINCE OF CAVITE, IN THE FOURTH JUDICIAL REGION, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 129, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS “THE JUDICIARY REORGANIZATION ACT OF 1980”, AS AMENDED, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The existing 5th Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Carmona-General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite is hereby converted into a Municipal Trial Court with seat at the Municipality of Carmona.
A separate Municipal Trial Court with seat at the Municipality of General Mariano Alvarez is hereby created.

Conversion and Creation of Municipal Trial Courts in Cavite
- The existing 5th Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Carmona-General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite is converted into a Municipal Trial Court with seat at the Municipality of Carmona. (Section 1)
- A separate Municipal Trial Court with seat at the Municipality of General Mariano Alvarez is created. (Section 1)
- All pending cases in the 5th Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Carmona-General Mariano Alvarez shall be transferred to the proper Municipal Trial Court created by this Act. (Section 2)
Authority and Reorganization
- The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is authorized to: (Section 3)
- Create new and additional positions
- Make changes in assignments of personnel
- Effect reorganization necessary to implement this Act
- The security of tenure of the incumbent judge and personnel of the 5th Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Carmona-General Mariano Alvarez shall not be undermined. (Section 3)
Funding and Appropriations
- The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, shall immediately include the necessary funds to fully operationalize the courts created by this Act in the Annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 4)
- The funds necessary for the operation of the courts created shall be appropriated and released only upon the actual organization of the courts and the appointment of its personnel. (Section 4)
Amendments and Repeals
- Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, otherwise known as "The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980", as amended, and all other laws, executive orders, and rules and regulations which are inconsistent with this Act are hereby amended, repealed or modified accordingly. (Section 5)
Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation. (Section 6)
