Summary of Republic Act No. 9764Conversion of Tagkawayan Municipal High School into a National High School
- The Tagkawayan Municipal High School in the Municipality of Tagkawayan, Province of Quezon is converted into a national high school to be known as Tagkawayan National High School. (Section 1)
Transfer of Assets and Liabilities
- All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Tagkawayan Municipal High School are transferred to and absorbed by the Tagkawayan National High School. (Section 2)
Appropriations
- The Secretary of Education shall immediately include the operationalization of the Tagkawayan National High School in the Department's program. (Section 3)
- The initial funding shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Tagkawayan Municipal High School. (Section 3)
- Thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)
Implementation
- The Secretary of Education shall issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act. (Section 4)
Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette. (Section 5)

AN ACT CONVERTING THE TAGKAWAYAN MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAGKAWAYAN, PROVINCE OF QUEZON INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS TAGKAWAYAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. Conversion into a National High School. - The Tagkawayan Municipal High School in the Municipality of Tagkawayan, Province of Quezon is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as Tagkawayan National High School.
Section 2. Transfer of Assets and Liabilities. - All personnel, assets, liabilities and records of the Tagkawayan Municipal High School are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Tagkawayan National High School.
