AN ACT CREATING A BRANCH OF THE REGIONAL TRIAL COURT TO BE STATIONED IN THE CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE

Summary of Republic Act No. 10695

Creation of a New Regional Trial Court Branch
- An additional branch of the Regional Trial Court is created to be stationed in the City of San Jose del Monte, Province of Bulacan, in the Third Judicial Region. (Section 1)

Assignment of Branch Number
- The Supreme Court shall assign the branch number of the newly created Regional Trial Court branch in the Third Judicial Region. (Section 2)

Operationalization and Funding
- The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, shall immediately include the operationalization of the new court branch in the Court's program. (Section 3)
- The funding for the operation of the new court branch shall be included in the Annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)
- The funds shall be appropriated and released only upon the actual organization of the court and the appointment of its personnel. (Section 3)

Amendment of Existing Laws
- Section 14(c) of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, otherwise known as "The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980", as amended, and all other inconsistent laws, executive orders, and rules and regulations are hereby amended, repealed, or modified accordingly. (Section 4)

Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation. (Section 5)
