- One (1) additional Regional Trial Court branch is created in Ormoc City, Leyte, under the Eighth Judicial Region. (Section 1)
- The Supreme Court shall assign the branch number for the newly created branch. (Section 2)
Implementation and Funding
- The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, shall immediately include the implementation of this Act in the Court's program. (Section 3)
- The funding for the operation of the newly created court shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)
- The funds shall be appropriated and released only upon the actual organization of the Court and the appointment of its personnel. (Section 3)
Repealing Clause
- Section 14(i) of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, otherwise known as "The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980", as amended, and other provisions inconsistent with this Act, are hereby deemed repealed, modified, and/or further amended. (Section 4)
Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in two (2) newspapers of general circulation. (Section 5)

REPUBLIC ACT No. 10541
AN ACT CREATING AN ADDITIONAL BRANCH OF THE REGIONAL TRIAL COURT IN THE EIGHTH JUDICIAL REGION TO BE STATIONED AT THE CITY OF ORMOC, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, FURTHER AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 129, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS "THE JUDICIARY REORGANIZATION ACT OF 1980″, AS AMENDED, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. One (1) additional Regional Trial Court branch for Ormoc City, Leyte, with seat thereat, is hereby created in the Eighth Judicial Region.
Section 2. The Supreme Court shall assign the branch number for the newly created branch.
Section 3. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, shall immediately include in the Court’s program the implementation of this Act. The funding therefor shall likewise be...
